Redondo blown away by MessiInter Miami team-mate is 'incredible'Argentine talks potential Olympic Games spotWHAT HAPPENED?
Miami midfielder Redondo has repeatedly been blown away by fellow Argentine Messi since joining the club earlier this year. The 36-year-old has scored 12 goals and bagged 11 assists this season, something the former Argentinos Juniors ace has been hugely impressed by. On top of speaking about the Barcelona legend, the 21-year-old outlined his ambition to represent his country at the Paris Olympics this summer.

He told TNT Sports: "When you see Messi on television, you admire him a lot. But when you see him on a daily basis it's incredible: on the pitch he always has the solution. I have followed Sergio [Busquets] since I was a child. Something I admire about him is that he always makes the best decision, which in our position is always the most difficult."
On his Olympics dream, the Argentina under-23 international added: "I have my mind set here, but if I have to go to the Olympic Games it would be a huge pride. I always say that (the National Team) is the most beautiful place a player can be, representing his country."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Messi's move to Miami has done wonders for Major League Soccer. The division has experienced an economic boom since his arrival last summer and the veteran forward has helped them reach the top of the Eastern Conference standings in the early stages of the 2024 season. At present, Messi can do no wrong.
